OK, here we go with the "About Us". I hope you enjoy my humor! After working in corporate America for nearly 30 years in the concrete pumping industry in sales and customer service, I decided to switch careers. My children, who I am proud to say I have raised by myself since they were 2, 3 and 4, now all teenagers, said, "Dad you're too old to switch careers." My oldest son, said that I'd finally lost it and gone off the deep end. Then, I guess to show a little support...maybe, he said, "We're going to end up on welfare, but I'll be 18 soon, so I guess I'm not too worried." My other son said, "Wait a minute! I've got a long time to go! I'm concerned!" My youngest wasn't part of this conversation, but would have said she'd be happy with lunch money. Gotta love 'em! Over the years, I've passed up various job opportunities, choosing to stay in the industry I was in because the schedual was flexible and it always provided for us, which we were all very thankful for. After total burn-out, however, not to mention the stress, I decided to take this chance, opportunity, venture, leap, or whatever you want to call it. I started a mobile sharpening business, sharpening and selling shears to the professional stylist.
Knowing I needed the best equipment and training possible, Wolff Industries proved to have both. After completing my training and factory certifcation, I knew the next step was offering the best products and customer service at competitive prices. I believe we have done that with the launch of our web store. We are continuing to add new products, our Kenchii line being the latest addition. The difference in buying your professional tools and products from us will be our dedicated customer service. If something's not right, I'll make it right. All of our products also carry their manufactures' full warranty.
We started the company by selling and sharpening salon scissors. We recently added clipper blade sharpening to our full service concept with the purchase of Huff's new "Extreme Cut" sharpening system. This machine utilizes the latest technologies from Huff's Wholesale, with over 60 years experience in the industry. We now offer groomers, barbers, and salon stylists clipper blade sharpeningand repair.
I'm proud of my children whom I've raised Christian. I like to say I'm born-again every day! If I do something stupid today, I'll do better tomorrow, because I don't want to be stupid two days in a row! As Forrest said, "Stupid is as stupid does." I'm also a very proud Vietnam-era veteran, having served in the Army from 1971-1974.
